Universe Last a Ward, a Fukuoka hardcore band from Kyushu, has released their first album in six years, 'Ride with Us.'The title 'Ride with Us' reflects Universe Last a Ward's determination to take their fellow scene members to the next level with this album.The core sound is based on a metallic hardcore sound that is full of ulaw's signature style, with straightforward, sporty riffs, tough beatdown, and, not to forget, the aesthetic melodies that define their original sound. And the exquisite blend of these elements has been further refined from their previous album, 'N.9.S.'Written based on the struggles and conflicts of everyday life and memories of friends who share their place, the lyrics, along with the lyrical Japanese lyrics common to previous releases, are increasingly incorporating head-nodding, rap-inspired flows, further evolving the sound. Thealbum features eight brilliantly colored tracks, featuring guest appearances by vocalists and rappers selected from numerous collaborations and everyday pastimes.Also featured are local Kyushu artists Lee (asano + ryuhei) and Nagasaki's $ELMA, as well as Fukuoka legend FREEZ and festival leader YOUTH-K (STARTER / EVOLNATAS), who reunite for a 'legendary tag team'-a long-awaited skit sequel for Kyushu heads in particular.
