Ken-Ichiro Isoda - Majel's Slumber

Kenichiro Isoda, the Japanese composer renowned for his timeless masterpiece of Japanese ambient music, "Oscillation Circuit," delved into a series of New Age music projects in the 1990s, which were released under the Apollon label, including "The Star of Magiel." His delicate and beautiful soundscapes were later rediscovered both domestically and internationally, and are now hailed as masterpieces of the new generation. From these works, Isoda has carefully selected tracks and re-recorded them using contemporary production techniques for this album, "Magiel's Slumber." In addition to his own performances, the album features the saxophone by the virtuoso Shoji Oshiro, winner of the Japan Wind and Percussion Competition, as well as newly added natural sounds field-recorded by Isoda himself. The result is four supreme tracks, enveloped in textures that gently melt into the ears of every listener.
